Siddhasthali Rural Community Hospital Joins the International Hospital Federation as an Associate Member

In a significant development for healthcare in Southeast Asia and the Western Pacific, Siddhasthali Rural Community Hospital has become an Associate Member of the International Hospital Federation (IHF). The IHF, established in 1929, is a not-for-profit, non-governmental organization headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. It serves as the global voice of hospitals and health systems, providing a platform for knowledge exchange, networking, and collaboration among healthcare professionals and organizations from over 60 countries.

The membership in the IHF offers several benefits for Siddhasthali Rural Community Hospital, including access to a global network of healthcare organizations, opportunities for professional development, participation in international events such as the World Hospital Congress, and a chance to engage in global advocacy efforts. These are crucial for the hospital’s mission to improve healthcare services and contribute positively to its community’s health.

Particularly, the hospital aims to leverage this membership to foster collaboration, exchange ideas, and apply successful healthcare models to enhance its service delivery.
