We are delighted to announce the remarkable success of the online auction hosted by our partner organization, CHANCE for Nepal – a UK-based charity (www.chancefornepal.org). The event spanned three days, commencing at 6:00pm on Thursday, 27th April, and reaching a thrilling conclusion at 8:00pm on Sunday, 30th April 2023. The event raised an impressive sum of £30,000, which will contribute significantly towards procuring an X-ray machine for the newly constructed Siddhasthali Rural Community Hospital. This equipment will significantly improve the hospital’s diagnostic capabilities, allowing for timely and accurate treatment of patients in need.
The auction was introduced and endorsed by the talented British actress and activist Joanna Lumley, also the organisation’s Patron.
